WHAT DID YOU CHOOSE FROM ROOMSERVICE BY CORT?
I chose individual furniture pieces to kit out the different rooms in a duplex apartment in central London.
HOW DID YOU FIND THE SERVICE?
The service was excellent from start to finish. The flexibility of choosing pieces that matched the style of the property
really appealed. All of the items were delivered directly to the flat in one go and the installation team helped with layout, set everything up and left the rooms in immaculate condition. It was so great not to go through the hassle of
arranging different delivery slots or having to piece the items together. Help from a professional in-house interior designer was at hand whenever needed at no extra cost. The process was seamless and ideal for anyone with a busy lifestyle.
WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT THE CHOICE OF FURNITURE AVAILABLE?
The reputable brands are well chosen for their functionality as well as their style credentials. The website was very easy to navigate and I appreciated how much choice there was in terms of design and budget. It was fun to mix and match and bring each space to life.
HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE QUALITY OF THE FURNITURE?
The quality is excellent. The pieces are modern, comfortable and well-made. It is clear that a careful selection process is in place.
WHY DID YOU OPT FOR FURNITURE RENTAL?
It was the perfect option when renting an unfurnished property. Furniture rental means you are not committed to purchasing pieces that you may need to find a new home for after moving out or sacrificing on the quality of the homeware.
HOW DOES THIS FIT YOUR LIFESTYLE?
The ease of using one website to kit out an entire apartment was brilliant. The flat was fully furnished within a matter of hours of the installation team arriving which meant that it was wonderfully time efficient and took away so much of the stress of moving into a new place and juggling multiple deliveries of furniture.
WERE THERE ANY CHALLENGES?
Envisaging the items working within the space is always a bit of a challenge but once a couple of the key pieces in each room are chosen it all starts to come together.
WOULD YOU RENT FURNITURE AGAIN?
Absolutely! I would really recommend it to anyone who needs a quick and stylish turnaround for an unfurnished property. It is ideal for the London property rental market where a tenancy is often negotiated on the day of the viewing. It is also perfect for anyone travelling to London for short-term purposes, seeking a home away from home environment without having to purchase items.
WHY DO YOU THINK MORE PEOPLE ARE CHOOSING TO RENT FURNITURE?
We are now a generation of renters, especially in London, so it makes a lot of sense. The chances are you will move
from place to place before getting on the property ladder and committing to a flat or house full of furniture is often not ideal. This service offers a very good solution.
WERE YOU SURPRISED BY THE RANGE OF THINGS THAT YOU COULD RENT?

Why rent furniture?
Renting furniture is just one way of reducing the amount of furniture going to landfill. Due to the short-term nature of most staging projects, making substantial financial investments into furniture, which could be unwanted, may not be the best solution. Furniture rental enables you to choose the furniture you want, for as long as you need it. You can even rent household goods, TVs and soft furnishings to create a homely environment.
