With sustainability and eco-friendly products becoming highly fashionable and at the forefront of our client’s minds, our featured member Danielle Sinclair Design uses cardboard sheets to stage homes. Danielle Sinclair is an Interior Designer and Home Stager based in Oxfordshire and is passionate about creating home staging furniture that benefits the environment.
A few weeks ago, Danielle managed to stage an empty house in Oxfordshire with her cardboard furniture. Even though it was extremely low budget, Danielle managed to completely transform the house and stunned her client and developer. Her developer said:
“Danielle Sinclair Design & Home Staging responded in an amazing way at very short notice to our request to stage a house for an open weekend. They were professional, efficient and the finished result was way beyond our expectations. The house looked amazing, I wanted to move into it myself! Without a doubt, this service will expedite the sale of our houses. We will be using them for all future projectsâ€ÂÂ.
Danielle’s remarkable cardboard furniture arrives flat packed and consists of plain cardboard boxes and modules. Each of the cardboard pieces is built to be fixed into several pieces of furniture, making it even more sustainable and trendy. The designs for this home included furniture pieces like beds, sofas and kitchen islands as well as accessories, a playful addition of ‘who gives a crap’ toilet paper. It is truly amazing how aesthetically pleasing, staged cardboard can look and how it can do the trick of getting potential clients to fall in love with their new home, visualising their life in it.
We love to hear from Home Staging professionals, like Danielle, who are constantly innovating to break traditional boundaries and take their work a step forward.
