With a community of resilient, devoted and determined professionals, the Home Staging Industry will undoubtedly flourish along with its people. And to continue providing value to its members, the HSA extends its team with a new addition to the Committee.
The addition will allow HSA to continue educating, supporting and promoting professionals within the Home Staging Industry. The HSA is currently developing a programme of accreditation for home stagers which will give professional credibility and enable any vendor, agent or developer commissioning staging, a reliable benchmark of training and experience.
We are excited to announce our new HSA Committee Member, Elaine Penhaul. Many of you will already know Elaine as the Director of Lemon and Lime Interiors and Founding Member of the HSA. Elaine will be joining under the role of Senior Advisor for Coaching and Professional Development.
Elaine Penhaul’s (MEd, PGCE, PGDip) Biography and Experience
Elaine is a qualified business coach who has worked across sporting and business environments for over 30 years. She has supported, developed and challenged senior leaders in businesses as diverse as police forces through to the Royal Yachting Association.
She has led major culture change through introducing coaching as a management tool in the biggest non-metropolitan police force in the UK over the last 12 years and ‘happened’ to get into home staging through her own property investment along the way.
Elaine offers her expertise to coach, support and challenge entrepreneurs in home staging, having grown her own business, Lemon and Lime Interiors, over the last 8 years to become one of the largest in the UK. In her coaching business, Elaine has managed the process to become both an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) training centre and delivered training at the highest level to meet their national qualification criteria. It is this experience she now brings to the HSA committee to help professionalise the industry.
Lemon and Lime Interiors is a preferred staging partner to Fine and Country and stage regularly for Knight Frank and Savills amongst others. They sit firmly at the upper end of the property market with a national reach and have collated robust data from the start of the business evidencing the efficacy of staging. Elaine is a passionate advocate of evidence-based staging and her first book Sell High, Sell Fast is due to be published in the Autumn of 2020.
Having Elaine and her expertise in coaching will benefit HSA and the industry as a whole. Please join us in warmly welcoming Elaine to this key role within the Association. The HSA Team is deeply committed to working with Elaine to developing our industry as Home Staging Association enters its next chapter.
