Project of the Month: Refine Property

Home Staging Association UK & Ireland Founding Member, Refine Property, have recently finished their 6th staging project for client Crossman Homes Ltd.

The task at hand was to stage a 4/5 bed Georgian home, ensuring it was ready to hit the market.

Crossman Homes are built and finished to a very high spec with a traditional Georgian look.
Refine Property explain how the landowner who sold the plot adjacent to his current home
said it had taken them 14 years to agree all terms with the council for it to finally be built
on, so restrictions and specifics were left untouched.

Inside the property boasts heated floors, a central air system and smart thermostats, which
made it far more efficient and far less damp than the 200-year-old versions the property it is
next to. The house comprises of 4/5 bedrooms, an open plan kitchen diner and living space,
cinema room to adjoining kids/casual living space, a huge utility room, drawing room, study
and a master bedroom walk-in wardrobe and en-suite occupying the entire 1st floor.

The look Refine Property wanted to obtain within the decor was classic with modern
touches to echo the feel of the rest of the house. The accents throughout the property are
aged brass and black, so again, this was their inspiration with black framed mirrors, artwork
and accessories. They kept tones natural but classic in the living space but employing some
deeper more classic colours in other areas of the home, like the deep navy-blue sofas in the
drawing room.

Alongside velvet greys and white, burnt orange was used as an accent in the master
bedroom, a shade which Refine Property define as the colour of the moment. This was used
amongst the copper tone mirrored built in wardrobes which run the length of the dressing
room.

The house hits the market with Savills 2 weeks ago listed at £2million.
